Reese & Jack's Wellness visits

It worked out for me to take the kiddos for their wellness visits together this time. We were a little late for Reese's 2 year and Jack's 6 month visits.

Reese

Weight: 26.4 lbs
Height: 34 inches

Reese had to get her finger pricked and 1 shot today. She did great and didn't cry a bit. I actually think she enjoyed her visit with the nurses and getting stickers. Her iron is a little low so the Dr. suggested her take a vitamin with iron added. Everything else looks great. Her weight and height are in the 50th percentile.

She is still drinking almond milk although on occasion I have mixed 1% milk with it and not had any issues. She loves sleeping in her twin bed but has started randomly waking up during the night wanting "hugs" or milk. The past few nights Joe or I have just held her for a minute and/or given her milk and she has went back to sleep in her bed all by herself. We had previously let her get in the bed with us or laid down in her bed with her. She has always been an amazing sleeper so we have both been shocked by this.
She is still pretty independent and does well playing by herself.  She drinks out of a big girl cup at school but still likes her milk in a sippy cup at home. She eats in her high chair but also her small table at times.

A little fun today after yard work was finished.

Jack

Weight: 18 lbs & 8.5 oz
Height: 26 inches

We found out that Jack has an ear infection. He will have to get on an antibiotic. He had to get 4 shots and a medicine by mouth today. Poor thing could be fussy and have fever over the next couple of days.  His weight is in the 50th percentile and his height is in the 10th.

We just started feeding him 3 x day a few nights ago. He actually slept straight through the past 2 nights! FINALLY…
He started saying "da da" about a week ago. He blubbers with his lips a lot now too. He is all over the place on the floor but not crawling yet.

Jack says "dadadadada"

Reese is CONSTANTLY bugging Jack and laying on top of him! I wonder if he will ever get the opportunity to learn how to crawl. She is ALWAYS getting in trouble for messing with him!!
