Reese started running a fever last Sunday. Her nose had been running for a few days before. Her fever wouldn't stay away and she was just feeling pretty bad so we took her to the Dr. on Tuesday. She had a sinus and ear infection and was given 10 days worth of antibiotics.
Tuesday night her fever got up to 104.2. She would just lay still on our chest because she felt so bad. This was THE worst I had ever seen her feel. It just broke my heart. The Motrin and Tylenol wouldn't break her fever and it made me nervous. She finally vomited (all over me) and it started going down.
Wednesday night she had the same high fever issue but we were in the vehicle driving to Mobile. Thank goodness the Motrin finally kicked in soon after we arrived to Joe's parents house.
She continued to have a fever off and on until Saturday morning. Reese was still able to enjoy Papaw and Grandma during her visit.
She was a trooper through this and LOVED taking her Amoxil. I got a video of her taking it.
